    3" sub pump

    I have the pump installed in a shallow well and it is performing good at this writing. I did have to pull pump back up to last joint of pipe and retighten as it was unscrewing the pipe, almost lost the connection. I called a local pump installer and was instructed to get connections as tight as possible. As far as the Tuhorse goes, I have not had any trouble yet. Product seams to be of excellent quality. Shipping was very fast and unit was packed very good. Unit had good instructions and illustrations. Thanks for a good product Jess A Comments from Tuhorse tech support: Do not screw the pipe too much into the discharge as that could block the internal check valve from opening. Tuhorse pumps require an external check valve installed in line, anywhere from 0 to 25 feet above the pump's discharge when the pump is used in a water tight system (e.g. in a domestic water system with a pressure tank).

    my first submersible pump. replaced a gould's jet pump that I had on my 3 in casing. works fine and supplies plenty of water.

    I installed the pump a few days ago and it seems to be working really good. It pumps the water really fast.

    Used this pump to dewater and develop a 4" well for a sanitary landfill monitoring well. Worked fine, until some of the sealing material got in pump. A simple reversal of leads to run pump backwards and it took right off again. Seems to be a good pump and could compete with grundfos 3" pumps if sized right.
