3" 1.5HP TH3-010-25 230V 1Ph. Complete Set incl motor, pump-end and control box
Tuhorse
Complete submersible deep well pump end, motor, and dual capacitor Control Box Pro set. Complete Instructions.
If you have a hard time pulling your old 4 inch pump off the well because the 4" steel well casing is rusted or the PVC casing is melted, consider to use a 3" pump instead.
This pump is also an ideal replacement for a jet pump. Submersible well pumps are more efficient comparing to the suction pumps, like a on-ground jet pump. Go green, save on your hydro bill! One step at a time!
Model: TH3-010-14
This TH3-010-14 is formerly our TH3-T-15. The pump curve remains the same because they are the same pump. We are in the process changing the model names to reflect the flow rate. 010 stands for 10GPM. The new model numbers help our customers to choose the right pump easier.
great product so far, it has been in ground couple months and works as advertised I am very happy to date
Well pump works perfect so far. So much better then having the shallow well pump in my basement. Have better water pressure. The price was right and i am extremely happy with this pump. Seems to be well made and good quality.
My siblings and I are in awe on how well this pump works in our 3" well casing 100 ft deep and pushing up to 450 ft horizontal flow. We are in a drought and this well pump is saving many trees and plants.
I purchased this pump to replace a 6 year old Grundfos unit that developed a motor failure. Grundfos quoted me $1500 in Canada for a new unit! After I recovered my composure, I started to look for an alternative. If you've looked, there are very few 3" pumps on the market and this Tuhorse 3/4" HP unit seemed to be an ideal match for the Grundfos at a much more reasonable price. Since this pump fed water to my ground source heat pump via a 90' well and it was early December, I couldn't wait for a long delivery. I talked to a young engineer named Jason and asked him to help me get this ASAP. He and the staff at Tuhorse were outstanding! I ordered the pump on a Friday and it was at my home on Monday morning and installed right away. Since the new pump is 3 wire and the old pump 2 wire, I had to mount the control panel at the wellhead. With Jason's advice and excellent support I got that done without a problem. When I had a bit of a startup problem, Jason was there again to step me through the issue and I was up & running and have been since December 7th. In my opinion, I'd rate the Tuhorse pump at 5 stars, the control panel 5+ stars and Jason & his team 10 stars (if I could). I'm really pleased with the quality, service, delivery & price. What more could I ask for!! Thank you!
This replaced a venturi/foot valve unit in an older 4" steel well casing. Upon turning the unit on the first time i was seeing a very small amount of flow. I called up the manufacturer with some V/A/Ohm readings and the technical support gentleman reassured me that everything appeared normal with the electrical operation. But that meant I would probably need to pull the pump and search for another problem such as large leak. I reluctantly pulled the pump and found that an enormous amount of sediment had become clogged at my pitless adapter upon first startup (knocked off the casing during removal of old setup). I reinstalled the pump and turned it on and everything's been great since!
So far , am very impressed by this pump during operation. Great control unit with said pump. Have mention to quite a few others about the versatility and ease of insertion into an older well casing. Glad to have purchased this unit.
This pump is the size that is needed for the casing size I have to work with. Glad we can get this product and in a timely manner. Thank you.
fit perfect in my 3" casing. easy install
I had a deep well jet pump in my basement drawing from a 30' deep well with a 4" casing. I was tired of the noise, leaks, and low water pressure issues. After installing this 3" dia. pump, the noise is gone and the water pressure is improved. The pump also brings the system up to 60 lbs. pressure much faster than the jet pump had. I pondered doing this for years but could not find a lot of information about the conversion, so kept delaying. Now, I wish I would have done it years ago........
